There are so many ways to become involved with the NMSF. We can use your help handing our programs and cushions, as a Greenshow performer, as an actor or as backstage cast and crew.

Auditions are January 13 and 14, 2024. You can sign up here.

Audition sign up deadline is January 12, 2024.

Shakespeare in Love tickets must be purchased. The summer shows are free to the public and no tickets are needed.

NMSF is a non-profit and any donations are tax-deductible to the extend allowed by law.

All NMSF performance locations are ADA accessible. The summer productions have nights of ASL interpretation. Programs are available online so they may be read in larger print.

2024 Season

Shakespeare In Love

Yes. Tickets will be sold as the event draws closer.

Parking available on site behind the South Broadway Cultural Center at 1025 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102

Shakespeare in Love is not kid-friendly. It is recommended for audience members ages 14 and above.

This show is 2 and 1/2 hours, including intermission.

Performances take place on:

Friday 3/15 7:30pm 
Saturday 3/16 7:30pm
Sunday 3/17 2:00pm
Thursday 3/21 7:30pm 
Friday 3/22 7:30pm 
Saturday 3/23 7:30pm
Sunday 3/24 2:00pm

Rehearsals will begin immediately after casting for Shakespeare in Love for performances in mid-March.

New Mexico Shakespeare Festival

You do not have to purchase tickets to attend Summer Festival
performances.

There is ample well-lighted free parking available at the Veteran’s Memorial Park and the National Hispanic Cultural Center

Yes – the Summer performances are kid-friendly.

2024 performances will be about 2 hours long, including intermission.

Weather updates will be on the NMSF Facebook page and the event page on our website for that evening.

Summer festival dates are June 7 – July 6, with performances on Fridays,
Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the NM Veterans Memorial Park.

The Merry Wives of Windsor will be performed at North Domingo Baca
Amphitheatre on Thursday June 13 starting at 7:30 p.m. – other tour
locations and dates TBD

Rehearsals for the Summer Shakespeare Festival will begin in late April.

Auditions and Greenshow

Form submissions are due January 12th, 2024.

Auditions for all three shows take place January 13 and 14 at Keshet Dance and Center for the Arts located at: 4121 Cutler Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110

We recommend that you have some experience before auditioning.

Casting will be completed within 2 weeks of the audition dates and everyone who auditioned will receive a notice of who has been cast in which show.

No. Greenshow performances are considered NMSF volunteers and will not be compensated.
